Bandai Namco today released Black Clover: Quartet Knights, a 4-vs-4 battle game that lets you control characters such as Asta, Yuno and friends as they do battle with magic. The game is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Black Clover: Quartet Knights is based on the "Black Clover" anime and manga. It depicts an assortment of characters who hope someday to defeat the Wizard King so they can enjoy that position for themselves.

In the game, players select Magic Knights and place them within a squad, tailoring teams to attack, defend and offer support during strategic battles. There's also a story mode, featuring an all-new storyline created specifically for this release.

"Black Clover: Quartet Knights combines a compelling and exclusive new single player story along with intense online gameplay, letting friends join forces to contribute their specialized attack, defense or support skills in battle," said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing for Bandai Namco Entertainment America. "Dedicated Magic Knights can team up with each other online to engage in dramatic battles that will leave friends recounting countless stories of daring adventure."

The game has an MSRP of $59.99 USD or equivalent, and is now available in stores all over the world. It comes to market as the industry's annual release extravaganza has already begun, but it could still find an interested market in anime fans who also happen to play a lot of video games. Are you one such person?
