The deluxe version of one of indie gaming's biggest recent hits is available now.

Adult Swim Games has announced the availability of Battle Chef Brigade Deluxe on PlayStation 4. You can find it available for download on the PlayStation Store as "Battle Chef Brigade," the same title it has on Steam and the Nintendo eShop.

According to the press release, Battle Chef Brigade Deluxe features a variety of new features:

  • Play as two chefs, brought to life through unique poses and VO, in a charming campaign that’s equal parts old school brawler and combo puzzling, with a light sprinkling of RPG progression on top.

  • Welcome Chef Ziggy, the undead Necromancer, now playable in Local Multiplayer, Break the Dishes, Survival Mode, and Free Play Mode.

  • Test your might against fellow Brigadiers with the addition of Local Multiplayer! Play as Mina, Thrash, and even Ziggy in an epic battle where YOU make all the rules.

  • Extra Modes that test your cooking prowess including: Daily Cook-Off, Restaurant Rush, Break the Dishes, and the BRAND NEW Survival Mode leaderboards where you can show off your culinary creations.

  • Hone your skills in a BRAND NEW Free Play Mode and find the ultimate cooking combination.

  • Collect and enjoy the brilliant illustrations of Battle Chef Brigade in the BRAND NEW Art Gallery.

For the PC and Switch versions of the game, a "Deluxe" upgrade is also now available. Battle Chef Brigade on Nintendo Switch is currently on sale for $11.99 USD on the Nintendo eShop, compared to the $19.99 USD the PlayStation edition fetches, which suggests that upgrade may not be free.

In Battle Chef Brigade, players are members of a group of chefs known by that same name. They battle ferocious monsters and turn them into fine cuisine. Gameplay fuses puzzle-based cooking challenges with combat and exploration to create a unique mix just about everyone seems to enjoy.
