NIS America has gone a bit bonkers today, revealing all sorts of information about games coming in late 2018 and early 2019. One of those games is The Princess Guide, which is due to arrive on both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch at some point ahead of 2020.

In The Princess Guide, players can choose one of four available princess heroes and lead her and her people to victory in glorious battle. Your training and decisions impact both how the heroine fights and how the story unfolds.

From the press release, it's difficult to tell how much difference we should expect from one princess to the next. Right now, all we have are one-word descriptions and names: the vengeful Veronica, the gluttonous Lilliartie, the chivalrous Monomaria, and the dragon princess Alpana.

Apparently, much of the training that will shape the leading ladies comes down to whether you "praise" or "scold" the one you have chosen to guide. It's unclear how much of the game is devoted to interactions with other characters and how much is spent fighting through what sound like they will be active battles.

The Princess Guide is being developed by Nippon Ichi Software itself in Japan, rather than some other third party, which suggests it will be built around deep systems and coated with plenty of anime-style artwork. Are you interested in guiding a princess or two?
