I can't wait to see what happens to the major record labels in the next few years.
-People aren't buying music, bands are leaving the majors and going to indie labels or just putting out albums on their own.
-Most critically acclaimed albums this year were on indie labels with the exception of some rap.
-The general public is hating the major labels more and more because of all of the ridiculous law suits.
-Most people saw this comming since the Napster days, but the majors never changed their sales or business strategy.
Basically I feel bad for the good bands that are getting hurt by not selling CDs, but I can't wait to see the major labels go down, or even lower cd prices.............. or possibly stop screwing all of their artists.
A girl at work just spent over $10,000 on medical bills for her 6 month old cat. After all of the spending the cat didn't survive. This girl was crying her eyes out when I saw her yesterday. She had taken two days off of work to deal with the pain of losing the cat.
My wife's whole side of the family loves cats and at various family functions I have heard many cat conversations last well over a half hour.
Maybe it was how I was raised, but i don't get how people can love cat's so damn much. I like them alright, but if my cat's medical procedure would cost over $500 I would put it to sleep without any hesitation. I like animals in general, I just hate how people put them above or on the same level as other people.
The roads are terrible in Green Bay which leaves me stuck in mi casa. So far I've watched Harry Potter 5, Played some Rock Band, and downloaded Everyday Shooter.
I knew Rock Band would be a solid game, but after playing for a while this game could be my favorite music game ever. Guitar and drums on single player are both fun. I've tried singing a few times and I don't really get it. It looks like I'm hitting the notes and singing the right words but I keep doing terrible. Multiplayer is where this game puts all other music games to shame. It was me on guitar my wife on vocals and pup on drums and it was a blast.
Everyday Shooter is really cool so far too. Hard to explain, but fun.
Just got back from my work Christmas party. I don't know how many drinks I have had and I don't want to know. I don't really know why I am posting this.
Not in order.
Stardust-This might be my overall favorite. I immediately thought, modern day Princess Bride.(IGN Stole my thought in their review)
Harry Potter 5 - I wish the action at the end lasted longer.
Superbad-easily the best comedy of the year

Hot Fuzz-I heard it was just OK from a few people. I finally saw it and liked it a lot.
Ratatouille
Transformers-Had some lame moments, but was a fun movie
Live Free of Die Hard-Much better than I thought it would be.
The Bourne Ultimatum
The Mist-One of the better Horror movies I have seen in a while.
Knocked Up - 2nd best comedy of the year
Sicko-May influence who you vote for next year.
Pirates of the Carribean At Worlds End - Just Kidding, I hated this movie.
I'm sure I forgot a few, but there it is.
Every year I put 50 bucks into a fantasy football league with some of my good friends and coworkers. 3 of the past 4 years I have had the best team in the league taking first place in the regular season with the most total points. Well I just lost in the first round of our playoffs to the fourth place guy and I'm pretty pissed. Two of my top players this season were T.O. and Tony Romo and they did absolutely nothing. I hate the Cowboys more now than ever before. I had Ladanian Tomlinson as a running back and he was killing Detroit, but he got benched before half time because they were winning by so much.
The same thing(with different players) happened to me last year. I took 2nd last year and won 100$ and I still have a chance to win my 50$ back this comming week though.
I couldn't pick only one for some letters.
