About Me:

Sorry, but I haven't yet shared the information about myself that would typically display here. Check back later to see if that changes, or if I instead choose to remain an enigma.

I beat GUN. Good game, but short as fuck. The game kind of disappointed me in the "free-roaming" department too, because it's pretty linear. Oh well.

Beaten Games:

Red Faction
Area 51
Devestation
Metal Gear Solid 3
The Suffering: Ties That Bind
Call of Duty 2
F.E.A.R
GUN

Almost Beaten:

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
Quake 4
Infected?

So, I came in 7th in the shooter contest. I'm pretty pleased with my results. I think my F.E.A.R review, which I finished up tonight, will be a little better received than my N.O.L.F review was, because I spent a little more time with it, including a lot more information and what I think are some great examples. Sure, I don't have any flowery writing or anything gay, but I think it'll still do pretty well. Here's hoping, anyway.

Beaten Games:

Red Faction
Area 51
Devestation
Metal Gear Solid 3
The Suffering: Ties That Bind
Call of Duty 2
F.E.A.R

Almost Beaten:

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
Quake 4
GUN - 33% Complete (After fucking two hours of play, un-fucking-real)

Games I've Beaten At College
November 09, 2005

College has been great for both academics and gaming. I'm getting high marks in all my classes and I've managed to work my way through several games here, almost more frequently than at home (though I don't have a job at home so that makes some sense).

Here's the list (mostly so I can keep track):

Red Faction
Area 51
Devestation
Metal Gear Solid 3
The Suffering: Ties That Bind
Call of Duty 2

Partly Finished (Soon to be beaten):

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
F.E.A.R
Quake 4

I'm quite pleased with my progress.

Red Faction Review
October 17, 2005

Red Faction opens up with an introduction to our hero, Parker. He’s a miner on Mars who has come to the red planet to seek fame and fortune. Of course, when he gets there he quickly discovers that the mine operators are a ruthless corporation that control every aspect of their employees’ lives and require them to live on rigid schedules that they dictate for them. Soon an explosion kicks off a rebellion and Parker’s humdrum mining life is instantly transformed: in a matter of minutes he goes from “Parker the Miner” to “Parker the Revolutionary Who Can Out-Shoot Anyone”.
