Norm Spencer, the voice of Cyclops on both the X-Men animated series and Capcom fighting games passed away this month. He also provided voices for other Marvel animated shows like Silver Surfer. His voice samples in gaming included X-Men: Children of the Atom, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
Cyclops is one of my very favorite X-Men characters if not the top favorite surpassung the likes of Wolverine who is ultra popular in pop culture, and who I always recognized as the face of said Marvel comics superhero property. Watched the FOX animated series as a kid all the way till it was over, and will always remember him by his voice samples shouting "Optic Blast!" as he balsted away at opponents. May he rest in peace.
