Mortal Kombat (Genesis) review
"If there's one thing I hate about video game fans nowadays, it's the fact that if a series has lots of good games, it's automatically assumed that the first game is a classic. Mortal Kombat is the prime example of this. While it is a fine game, it's got a lot of problems that prevent it from becoming a classic. It may have led to a good series, but the original is not a great game at all. The fights are too slow, there's a limited amount of characters, and the game relied too much on fatalities ..."
