Yeah, it's a top-end TBS, but there are certainly better.

I prefer the type of TBS where you can't collect generic characters and have a complete picking of what classes they can do, etc. (FFT). I prefer the ones where you get what you're given, and if a character dies, it's permanent (hence how I like Fire Emblem).

Fire Emblem is nowadays perhaps the only Nintendo series I still have some respect for. It's been stagnant compared to other TBS games (such as Disgaea or La Pucelle) but the series hasn't fallen apart the way Mario or Zelda have.
