(pronounced as 'fack')
I've been in a FAQ-writing slump since I completed my last guide for a Simpsons game back in '04 (Bart vs. the Space Mutants on the C64, for those curious).
I've written plenty of miscellaneous guides throughout my FAQing career (with at least a few more planned for '06), but my passion for this hobby comes from the fun of writing guides for games based on the Simpsons or similar animated shows. I had a taste of such a game when I wrote a guide for Beavis and Butthead in Virtual Stupidity.
So I ask: what else is there right now? I've been considering South Park on the N64 and perhaps the Beavis and Butthead or Ren and Stimpy games on the Sega Genesis, but I'm open to suggestions.

honestgamer - January 06, 2006 (11:13 PM) You would think there would be a lot of animation-based games to write about. There aren't as many as I thought, though. I know a ton of people still consult my near-complete FAQ for SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikni Bottom, so you might try writing for Nickelodeon games next. There's definitely interest in well-written FAQ content, and Bikini Bottom at least was actually a good game to boot! You might also have fun with the different Pac-Man games, though I realize that's not quite the same thing. |
