I have been obsessively playing a wonderful but overlooked GBA game called "Golden Sun". Actually, I've been playing the second game, "Golden Sun: the Lost Age", which has a LOT more stuff you get to do. Though it is like 45 hour game when the first one was... twenty or so, I still enjoy it and its wonderful synthesized soundtrack to the fullest.
I don't really know why I'm obsessively playing it, and now that I'm almost done, I'm kinda bummed out, but I suppose that it's because I haven't gotten to play it at all for at least four months. You see, I lent the games to a friend of mine all that time ago, and she never really played them. She got halfway through the first game, really. -_-... I only got them back because sxhe moved to the UNT dorms recently, and I knew that if I didn't get them back before then, I would never get them. So, my GBA game archive is whole again. :)
The yearning to play is similar to when I was playing Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness compulsively, so maybe I just needed a change of scenery when it came to gaming. Still, I feel rather useless -even more so than usual- when I'm playing on my DS and everyone else is doing something productive. Ah well. I'm almost at the end of the game anyway.
Still no job. Still worried about college. Puppy's still growing.

EmP - August 24, 2006 (10:06 AM) Golden Sun isn't overlooked; it was hailed as THE GBA RPG!! upon release. I must admit though, I found it dull. |

Genj - August 24, 2006 (12:03 PM) I couldn't stand Golden Sun at all, but maybe that was because I accidentally downloaded the German version. |

Genj - August 24, 2006 (12:39 PM) Because the website I downloaded it from failed to mention it was in German. |

EmP - August 24, 2006 (03:21 PM) That could only have improved the stale, forced dialogue, Genj. |
