Well, I've been progressively spending more and more time with my pokemon games... which is rather unnerving, seeing as how I was about to sell some of my rare cards to a friend of mine.
I finally got DVD Vol. 11 of Full Metal Alchemist. I know, I know, what a geek. It's bloody FMA. It's mainstream, like Naruto and friggen' Inuyasha. Inuyasha was good for a while, but it needs to die now, and I don't really like Naruto, but if you ask me, there's always something that makes a series mainstream, and it's usually because it's good. Well, FMA is GOOD. I haven't had so many "OH MY GOD!" moments since the first few archs of Inuyasha -back when it wasn't as long as War and Peace. It's great; my inner anime fangirl finally has something to chew on again. I'm not about to write any fanfiction on it or buy posters or shirts or anything like that, but I do enjoy all the plot twists and turns. My GOD I'm such a goober.
School starts on the 28th. Maybe then my dad'll stop harrassing me about getting a job. If I had a quarter every time he brought that stupid subject up, I'd have $153.50. Recently, when he has brought it up, my brain turned off, like when my English teachers talked about nominative clauses and all of that crap. In fact, my brain turned off at typing those words. o.o My sister feels a bit sorry for me, but she doesn't defend me. She didn't have to go look for a job; her friend offered it to her. And my dad keeps on saying, "When I was your age..."

lasthero - August 14, 2006 (11:58 AM) Do not question the Butterfinger. Merely eat it. And don't fret so much over the job and your dad; I've gotten a lot of that same schpeel lately, even though my father is one of the main reasons I haven't gotten a job yet. I just got called in for an interview, so that might change soon. Just stick with it. |

silverishness - August 15, 2006 (07:34 AM) Well, hurray for you! (I'm not being sarcastic) Unfortunately, I anger very easily, and my father is the type of guy that likes to irk people, so we'll see. Alas, the Butterfinger was already eaten. |

lasthero - August 15, 2006 (09:31 AM) What kind of sick, twisted mind leaves a half-eaten Butterfinger in plain view?! And yeah, I definitely understand the easy-anger thing. Once I got so frustrated with my dad, I punched a hole in wall. Just BAM. |

silverishness - August 16, 2006 (08:08 AM) o.O I don't think I'm strong enough for that... And yes, the half-eaten Butterfinger pained me. It's balsphemy to NOT finish a Butterfinger... |
