I hope everyone's having a good Turkey Day. Hubby and I are getting ready to go over to my parents, bearing the results of my hard work last night.
I do love to cook, so I made Sweet Potato Rum Pie with Gingerbread-Walnut crust, and Sashanan's recipe for tzatziki, a Greek sauce with garlic and onions.
I'm also, of course, packing my DS and my game case. My parents want to watch movies - specifically, Live Free or Die Hard, Ratatouille, and Shrek the Third, all of which we've now watched multiple times. So.. a little progress on my games won't hurt. I'm in the mood to work on Luminous Arc for a bit today so I can easily split my attention between the movies and the game.
And if you're stateside.. enjoy the freedom of a day off of work/school/whatever - I know I am!

sashanan - November 22, 2007 (12:04 PM) Do handle my signature dish carefully. I can't have you sullying my good name the way Martin did with EmP's. |

siara79 - November 22, 2007 (05:09 PM) You know I can cook. And it turned out rather nicely, as I mentioned in my email - my father, who bitches about EVERYTHING.. complained, as per standard, then proceeded to inhale it. :D I rescued the rest to bring home. The pie was yummy - I'd like to try that crust with a different type of filling - a cheesecake, perhaps? *grins* |

honestgamer - November 22, 2007 (07:24 PM) Even over here, I go to events as "Gary from HonestGamers" in case things go wrong, then only tell people that "actually I'm Jason" at the very end if it's clear the event was a success. As a result, quite a few members of the American press won't deal with 'Gary' but love 'Jason' because of the few events he attends. ;-) |
