Resident Evil (PlayStation)

Resident Evil review (PSX)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

I could make this review ''The way it was back when it was released,'' but I'm not. Why? I didn't play it when it came out, I'm playing it now. How does it live up to toadys standards? Is it still a good game? This review will be a bit different from my others. I won't go in depth because A) I just wrote a Nemesis review, and I don’t want to do it again B) Everybody and his mother knows about the average control sheme and C) I just don't want to....

Conker's Bad Fur Day (Nintendo 64)

Conker's Bad Fur Day review (N64)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Yes, Conker was in Diddy Kong Racing. Yes, he was in Pocket Tails. And yes, he is the star of the poo filled, parody filled, adult themed NINTENDO 64 game, Bad Fur Day.

Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube)

Super Smash Bros. Melee review (GCN)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

The most anticipated Gamecube game of 2001 was, without a doubt, Smash Bros Melee. The original was hailed as one of the best multi player games for the N64... the ultimate party game right next to Golden Eye. The original was also a homage to Nintendo, featuring 12 classic Nintendo characters from Mario to Link, Kirby to Pikachu, even Captain Falcon and Ness. It had classic music themes and everything. But while the multi player was fun, the one player mode was...lacking. Melee improves ...

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GameCube)

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle review (GCN)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Seeing a Sonic game appear on a Nintendo platform before Mario is uncanny... unheard of. But it happened, and the port of the Dreamcast game is a nice introduction for the blue hedgehog on the purple cube.

Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube)

Super Smash Bros. Melee review (GCN)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Firstly, I will state that this isn't a fighting game. Now, let me now explain why it is far from worship, something which shouldn't be very difficult to do. I simply cannot understand why this game is so overrated ? Is it because of a lack of titles in the genre on the GameCube or is it just because the game is by Nintendo and it's the sequel to Super Smash Bros. ? Either way, SSBM falls short of being a worthy addition to the library and I don't recommend it to anyone. Now, I realize that what...

Golden Sun (Game Boy Advance)

Golden Sun review (GBA)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

For now, Golden Sun is the best RPG you can purchase for the GBA, and the actual gameplay and battles are a blast. Unfortunately, I find the quality of the storyline and characters to be very important in an RPG, and Golden Sun simply does not come through in this area.

Dead or Alive 3 (Xbox)

Dead or Alive 3 review (XBX)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Just because there are a lot of sexy scantily-clad girls who try to knock you out of their senses with boobs doesn't conceal the fact that Dead or Alive 3 is one of the crappiest 3D fighters ever. Sensual women who show whatever they can when you least expect it do not conceal the shallowness of the game. I don't have anything against Ayane as a person, I am not against Kasumi being so sexy. But if these are here to to bring players to a game that doesn't deserve your attention, then Mr. ...

Mutant League Football (Genesis)

Mutant League Football review (GEN)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

The most fun way of killing the opposing players are the Nasty Audibles. These are ''plays'', used once per half, that you can call prior to the snap that have various interesting effects on the resulting plays. The most mundane of these merely enhance the ball carrier's ability, such as giving him Super Speed. The main attractions are the violent ones.

The Typing of the Dead (Dreamcast)

The Typing of the Dead review (DC)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Games like this are the reason why hardcore gamers respect Sega so much. After all, they certainly don’t know how well such a quirky game would sell...but they don’t care. They are committed to bringing gamers quality games, no matter how much of a niche product it is. Who else but Sega would have the guts to release a typing game based on a light gun game? You certainly wouldn’t see such a thing released by Sony or Nintendo, that’s for sure.

Dragon Warrior Monsters (Game Boy Color)

Dragon Warrior Monsters review (GBC)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

If you take a look at the box and the instructions for Dragon Warrior Monsters (heretofore to be referred to as DWM), you may be apt to dismiss it as just another Pokémon clone. Well, if you were to do that, you would be wrong. So very wrong. Read on to find out why DWM is not just a mindless Pokémon clone and it in fact is a much better, deeper, and more enjoyable game.

Wario Land 3 (Game Boy Color)

Wario Land 3 review (GBC)

Within the levels, one innovation from Wario Land 2 remains: You are invincible. YOU CAN’T DIE (well, except for on the final boss)! Despite this, WL3 is not by any means an easy game.

Shadowgate Classic (Game Boy Color)

Shadowgate Classic review (GBC)

Shadowgate Classic is an excellent port of the original 8-bit NES version of the same game; but, unfortunately, it's lacking in the gameplay department when compared to most modern games.

Conker's Pocket Tales (Game Boy Color)

Conker's Pocket Tales review (GBC)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

I got this game thinking it would be really cool like Conker's Bad Fur Day. Once I realized what the plot was like I started to become a little frightened, but the game still had potential to be good. It's pretty sad that I let a kid borrow this game, and then totally forgot about until one day he gave it back for no reason. This game has a huge problem with the age group, for it is cutesy for little kids, but is extremely challenging (Mako Island for example) Well anyway, this is why this game...

Madden NFL 2002 (GameCube)

Madden NFL 2002 review (GCN)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

As with all Madden games it is just an improvement on the year before. Incase there are people that actually don't know about the Madden series, it is a simulation style football game, alot like NFL 2K2. It is a video game made by EA Sports, year in and year out for around 10 years with never a failed year. This year is definitely no exception, and even the graphics are stunning for a PS2 import. This game amazed me happily, and well deserves it's rating.
