Cannon Spike review (DC)Reviewed on March 14, 2004While it has played host to some great shooters and some generic shooters, the DC has really had a ridiculous amount of ''shooters with a twist.'' Realistically, every shmup developer claims their game has a collection of unique elements that makes theirs better- thing is, every now and then, it's not rhetoric. Such is the case with Psikyo and Capcom's Cannon Spike, the best ''twist'' shooter on the DC. |

Dragon Warrior II review (NES)Reviewed on March 11, 2004The original Dragon Warrior was about as downgraded as a RPG can get. There weren't a lot of spells, or equipment. The world map was pretty small, and not tons of direction was given. To top it off all the battles were one on one. Enix had a lot to improve upon for their sequel, Dragon Warrior 2. Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars review (PSX)Reviewed on March 08, 2004Broken Sword for the PlayStation is a terrible game. It contains all the faults of the PC version with plenty more added due to it being such a terrible conversion. This was one of the first games to come out on the PlayStation and it is sure showing it ages. Clunky gameplay, horrific loading times, stupefying slow pace and unforgivable levels of frustration caused by lazy, glitchy gameplay all contribute to make this one of the most overrated and boring games ever. |
