Final Fantasy VII review (PSX)Reviewed on July 11, 2002Final Fantasy 7 is the Ultimate Console RPG ever created. The storytelling is superb, and on the cutscenes are very good for it's time. Final Fantasy 7 had alot to live up to, sense Final Fantasy 4 and 6 were such great games, and well in my Final Fantasy 7 was equal too, if not better than both of them. At first I played through the PC version and beat it there, however my friends owned the Playstation so I gave a look through it, so I could fairly review that version too. |

Final Fantasy Tactics review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownFinal Fantasy Tactics. This game and I have a very long history. It was bought for me as a birthday present and the first day I got it, I dug in. Within the first day at about the fourth level I was stuck. That's right the inevitable ''stuck''. I was there for a very long time, probably about a year or so, I was ready to give up. Finally one day I picked it up and by some video game miracle I made it pass that level. I was again caught up in the story line, urging myself forward through battles ... |

Gundam Battle Assault review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownAnime games here are few and far between. And that might be a good thing. Anime games are the Japanese equivelent of a movie or TV license. Meaning, for every Goldeneye there is at least 300 Olsen Twins, Xena or Blues Brothers. Anime games have improved- Record of Lodoss War, Card Captors, and Oh My Goddess for Dreamcast are rather competent, and Bandai's crank-a-dozen Gundam titles for Playstation are passable. |

Front Mission 3 review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownWell Square has done it once again. They have set their place, as one of the greatest RPG companies the world has ever seen. Front Mission 3 is a new type of RPG unlike anything before. |
Final Fantasy Anthology review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownI think the games could have been a little harder, just to make things a little more interesting. But games like Final Fantasy 8 that require many, many, many hits against the bad guys in order to defeat them make me appreciate this game's challenge level more. |
Final Fantasy VIII review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownThe music is uninteresting for the most part (with the slight exception of a few good songs), and the graphics leave much to be desired. It can be fun at times, but most of the time the game seems like a chore. |
The Granstream Saga review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownMaybe this game was just poorly translated. The game is so linear, I don't think you really have a choice as to what you want to do (reminds me of the first 11-13 hours of Final Fantasy 7, where you're in that power plant). I literally want to scream while playing this game. |
Wild Arms review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownIt's also great for someone who doesn't want to get entangled in a more-complicated RPG like Lunar, with all the elaborate video sequences and character parts. This is a core RPG. It has most of the RPG elements without all the flash. |

Bust A Groove review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownThis game is good for alot of things, a fresh new look on gaming, fun for parties, or showing to your girlfriend when she says you can't dance. I'd say rent this game first no matter how much I love it, because theres always games I love that other people despise, Pokemon for example. |
Final Fantasy Anthology review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownHowever, another massive mistake Square made was in the emulation of the Super Nintendo games onto the Playstation format. There's tremendous lag time between when you push a button, and when you see the results on screen. It can take up to ten seconds to get in or out of the menu screen. |
Final Fantasy IX review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownI laughed, and even cried a little, at various points in the game. Not since Final Fantasy VI have I gotten so totally sucked into a game. This game will be within easy reach of my Playstation for a long, long time. |
Final Fantasy VII review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownFinal Fantasy VII was Square's first attempt at a Final Fantasy for the Playstation. As an RPG, as a game, I suppose one could classify it as average. But given that Final Fantasy has a history of truly extraordinary games, ''average'' is hardly a compliment. |

Final Fantasy VIII review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownLike the Materia system, you lose spells when you change Junctions and magic around. And I tend to forget who has what spell, so I go to have Rinoa cast Aura, and find out that not only did I give all of her Aura to Quistis, but Quistis isn't in my party. AAAAAAACK! |
The Legend of Dragoon review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownThe Additions system was all right, but the Dragoon magic really annoyed me. First of all, in order to use the right spells, you have to have the right person in your party. There is no way for Meru to use a Fire spell, or for Albert to use a Thunder spell. |

Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownEach character has conflicts to resolve, both outer and inner--such as the, uh, tempestuous relationship between Jessica and Kyle . . . Also, something else I appreciated is the fact that the characters were mainly original, and not stereotypes. |
Koudelka review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownKoudelka has a similar look and feel to a survival horror game; Except there are random encounters while exploring the monastery and the battles are duked out in a strategy RPG format on a 7x7 grid. |
Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX: Maximum Remix review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownA good time waster! |
Resident Evil review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownI could make this review ''The way it was back when it was released,'' but I'm not. Why? I didn't play it when it came out, I'm playing it now. How does it live up to toadys standards? Is it still a good game? This review will be a bit different from my others. I won't go in depth because A) I just wrote a Nemesis review, and I don’t want to do it again B) Everybody and his mother knows about the average control sheme and C) I just don't want to.... |

Final Fantasy Chronicles review (PSX)Reviewed on Date Unknown[Note: This review is based on the PORT versions of the games, not the original games themselves. That being so, I’ll only cover the ports.](Making it real short) |

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation review (PSX)Reviewed on Date UnknownThis game dosn't deserve a intro. |
