You could say I am a member of the Castlevania cult. The games suck you in with it's excellent gameplay, and keep you there with it's addictive entertainment. Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance is no exception to this spectacular series. This is one of the tops in the series, although it is not the best Castlevania on the GBA. No longer are you forced to find perfect lighting. The system's lack of lighting is still an issue, but not half the one it was previously. This is good, because you'll definitely want to see the title's spectacular happenings. |

Units have special abilities, like being able to capture bases or transport other units. Most of the game takes place on the map-screen, but once the option to attack is selected, a new, split-screen appears which shows the battle actually taking place in detail. |

The animations in the game are fairly choppy, but you really won't notice if you're paying attention to the game. Menus and labels are clear and easy to read, and enemies are easily distinguishable. I was very happy with the graphics, but not astounded. |

It continues on in this game in the form of Nathan Graves, who recieves the whip from his master, however also bringing on the jealousy of his bestfriend. This is more of an RPG like Castlevania with the leveling up system, and that just increases the fun of the game. This game strongly resembles that of the playstation hit Symphony of the Night, and it serves the games legacy well. This is one of the best in this outstanding series and here is why: |

Instead, you're almost (dare I say it?) anxious for the next dungeon. How Capcom manages to keep things so fresh is beyond me, but each dungeon is unique and a pleasure to explore, even though enemies do attack more often than you might appreciate. |

For example, in Mario Kart, powerups and items were collected from little floating boxes... In Krazy Racers, you collect them from little floating bells. |
