American McGee's Alice review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownAfter finding your first weapon (the Vorpal Blade), it will become quite clear that you're not just in Wonderland for sightseeing. This becomes even more clear when you are attacked by one of the Heart Queen's guards. |

Max Payne review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownMax Payne's developers were able to take a simple formula for a third-person shooter, and spice it up with slick controls, big guns, and a really cool controllable slow-motion feature (aka Bullet Time.) While most of the game revolves around running around killing things, the ability to toggle on your limited bullet-time makes the game all the more fun. Bullet-time slows the game down, allowing you to aim |

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownThe earlier questions are easy enough, but once you get up to the higher ones things start getting tricky. That is, of course, in your first 15 or so times playing. |

Return to Castle Wolfenstein review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownAnyone willing to play through the game is probably likely to overlook the corny and unexpected storyline, hell, some might even enjoy it! Whatever the case, RTCW is a strong sequel to a great game. |

NHL 2001 review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownSeason, of course, is where the meat of the game lies. Pick your team (including the Minnesota Wild and Columbus Blue Jackets expansion teams) and play through their 2000-2001 schedule, attempting to grab the elusive Stanley Cup. |

The Curse of Monkey Island review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownPuzzles are where the gameplay lies, and trust me, Monkey Island has plenty of them. From the cruelly simple answers to the complex, multiple-event solutions, the game's numerous puzzles are engaging and tough. |

Myst review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownUnfortunately, Myst is like an empty Christmas present. It sure does look pretty on the outside, but the actual thing inside the box will let you down. |

3D Pinball: Space Cadet review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownThe best thing that Space Cadet Pinball has going for it is that it's free. All of its other features are done much better in commercial games. |

Baseball Mogul review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownIn Baseball Mogul 2000, you control every aspect of a major league baseball team. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. You control the starting lineup, the pitching rotation, the gaming philosophy, the minor league prospects, even the ticket and beer prices. You are a one man owner, manager, and general manager. |

Castle of the Winds review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownCastle of the Winds is proof that you don't need anything resembling graphics, sound, or story to have a fun and entertaining game. |

Serious Sam: The First Encounter review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownWhile most FPS' these days focus a lot on exploration, key-collecting and even problem and puzzle-solving, SS skips all that and goes right for the action. in the average FPS, even the most ''busy'' of rooms won't likely contain more than 10 enemies, but in SS, the most ''busy'' of rooms go well above the 50's! This is FPS war gone massive. |

Dope Wars review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownDope Wars is a unique stock-market type game, to say the least. In Dope Wars, you still follow the age old adage of ''buy low and sell high''. It's an update of the old skool games Druglord and Drug Wars. However, you're not trading stocks in this game. It's more like ''precious commedities''. *wink wink nudge nudge* |

Drug Lord review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownPeople like selling drugs. That's a very easy conclusion to draw. I mean, look at all the popular games that involve drugs - Grand Theft Auto 3, Dope Wars, even Barbie on the old Nintendo Entertainment System. While the latter may not appear to be a drug game, you know the programmers had to be on something to make every single object in the game some form of pink. |

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy review (PC)Reviewed on Date UnknownMinutes before Earth is about to be blown up by aliens, Ford Prefect manages to hitchhike with Arthur on to another alien ship. The game chronicles the unimportant, stupid, and silly journey that they take. |
