A Boy and His Blob review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownDavid Crane is recognized as one of the most prestigious and influential classic game developers there is. His impressive résumé notices him as the creator of Pitfall, the #1 best-selling game on the Atari 2600, and also as the founder of Activision, a 1970's video game company still in business today. Yes, David Crane has met with quite some success throughout the years, not excluding another of his works, A Boy and his Blob, a great 2D platformer for the Nintendo Entertainment Sy... |

Castlevania review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownAh, the game that started it all. A simple kid named Simon Belmont sent on a mission that is a curse or gift for his family for games to come. The very first Castlevania game made, almost as old as the Nintendo System itself, and yet it still stands up as an excellent game, and the leader of one of the greatest series' ever to grace this blue and green earth. |

Double Dragon review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownEvery so often in a system's life, a game comes that creates a new genre. This is that game. The game that started the beat'em-up genre is here. And it's waiting for you....it's name is Double Dragon. For it's time it was spectacular, even now I still play it every so often. Not to mention it was one of the first games with multiplayer. |

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownAfter Castlevania's success it was obvious a sequel would be made. Like Zelda though, the sequel was much different from the first, and not near as good. Instead of the simple sidescroller with enemies at every turn, and no complex puzzles Castlevania II weakens the enemies, and makes it so there are puzzles to solve, and many different ruotes to go. This is not really what Castlevania is supposed to be. |

Dr. Mario review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownSomeone that feisty Italian plumber has made it through medical school and become a doctor. He now doles out pills, helping to quell the viruses in his labratory. |

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownAs with the first Castlevania I got this game kinda by accident. I bough 10 games for about 10 dollars, and look has it that this game was among them. That was around 6 years ago, and I still play this game to date. There is so much to it, and it's practically impossible to beat, but it is always a fun time through. |

Dragon Warrior review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownShould Dragon Warrior be graded differently because it's such an old game? It's an interesting argument, but it's not particularily valid. The NES is so antiquated that better RPG's can be acquired for it. |

Dragon Warrior II review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownOverall, Dragon Warrior 2 was a giant step forward from past efforts on the NES. Today, it's hardly a revolutionary game, but it still provides some good fun if you can find a copy. |

Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownAhead, a kettle lies over a burner, boiling a sludgy mixture while killer bees bomb at you kamikaze-style from the right. You know that a single misstep will turn you into an appetizer, so you watch a bee and then plot your jump as the space is clear. Suddenly, your bushy charge is plummeting into the soup and instant death, the victim of a crate to the head. It appears your devious cohort was waiting for you to let down your guard. |

Contra review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownAh, to be back in the sweet days of Contra. Back in the 80's, when Run DMC and Aerosmith ruled the charts, when Ronald Reagen was President, when gaming was a much simpler hobby. |

Ice Climber review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownOk, this is my 10th NES review so I thought I might as well do it on an NES veteran because these little guys are supposed to appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee. I thought that this game would be good since it was made by Nintendo and they thought it was good enough to put in a great game like Super Smash Bros Melee. What I found wasn't pretty. This was really disappointing. Nintendo made amazing games on the nes, unfortunately, this wasn't one of them. |

Deadly Towers review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownIf you're one of those sick individuals who likes to play the worst games of a system and then worship them as if they were great, then Deadly Towers might actually appeal to you. |

Deja Vu: A Nightmare Comes True review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownAfter the release of the hit game Shadowgate for the NES, Kemco realized the potential there was in the point-and-click genre of games. With this new-found knowledge, Kemco sought to release yet another game of the same style. This led to the release of the game Déjà Vu, another masterpiece coded by Icom Simulations. This game, along with the few other point-and-click games by the same company, helped to open up the world of games where sly thought and keen observation is a must. |

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownIt's time for another RoyalRanger review, and this means it is time to comment on one of the worst NES games ever to be played. Yes, Dr. Jeykll and Mr. Hyde is truly a horrible game, despite what they say about it... no, wait... they do say it's a horrible game (I must really be tired or something). Anyway, Dr. Jeykll and Mr. Hyde is truly a horrible game (Wait a second, didn't I already say that? I know I've been experiencing déjà vu a lot lately. I know I've been experiencing déjà vu a lot lat... |

Dragon Warrior III review (NES)Reviewed on Date UnknownWhile not the leap that the fourth installment is, it provides a new gaming experience set in the Dragon Warrior universe. If you're a fan of role playing games, then you can do a lot worse then Dragon Warrior 3. |
