	Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle review (GEN) Reviewed on December 19, 2003 Alex Kidd got a raw deal. He’s got huge ears -- but he managed to overcome them and retain some semblance of the cuteness that was necessary to keep his job as Sega Master System mascot. His first adventure, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, was brilliant, and solidified his role of superstar. But Alex quickly fell from grace as an overly simplistic, unrelated sequel followed his fledgling foray into 2D platformer cuteness. Things went from bad to worse for the Kidd faithful, when the horrid Alex Kidd in Hi-Tech World made its way to store shelves. And stayed there. A BMX spin-off racing game put the youngster to further shame, so it’s a wonder he escaped the pitfalls of drug abuse, alcoholism and clinical depression, all afflictions that embrace so many child stars in a tenacious grip of despair.
	Rings of Power review (GEN) Reviewed on December 19, 2003 If asked who Naughty Dog software are, most answers would probably include Crash Bandicoot or possibly Jak and Daxter. You would be lucky to hear the words Rings of Power, and indeed, it was well after Crash Bandicoot was released that I realised that it was the same developer who was behind the games. Rings of Power was their only venture into the world of the Genesis, and furthermore, only their fourth game to be released – the previous three being on the PC, Amiga and Apple.
	Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball review (GEN) Reviewed on December 09, 2003 Smell that? Mmmm ..... sludge from the nearby subterranean cave network. Kid tested, mother approved. The first level of the game drenches you in the stuff, or at least puts it in very near proximity to your fragile body. 	Insector X review (GEN) Reviewed on November 26, 2003 This isn't the Insector X, from the arcade, that also made the trip to the NES. Gone are the stupidly cutesy characters, replaced by a more serious bunch. The game is still a lame horizontal shooter though - that much hasn't changed.
	College Football USA '97 review (GEN) Reviewed on November 02, 2003 Sports games really evolved when the Genesis was introduced. No longer were games with four teams and no modes acceptable. Now, sports games required a variety of game modes, teams, etc. College Football USA 96 was the first college football game ever released, to the best of my knowledge, and while it was a solid attempt, it didn't really feature a ton of game modes, plus it has problems delivering a solid and fun gameplay experience.
	Toejam & Earl review (GEN) Reviewed on October 31, 2003 Two totally different looking aliens are cruising through space in their weird rocketship that resembles a sort of sled with a TV-shaped body. Something goes wrong and it takes a horrible crash. The impact was so severe that the various parts of the ship have scattered about everywhere. Toe Jam and Earl must do what they can to find every last piece of their treasured vehicle so they can put it back together, unless they want to be stuck on the dreaded planet earth forever!

	Sub-Terrania review (GEN) Reviewed on October 31, 2003 When the Genesis was the hottest ticket in town, I found myself in dire need of new games. I saw Subterrania's cool box art and the back of its box, and I wanted it badly, even though this type of game (using aircraft to complete missions) wasn't one of my favorites. 	Streets of Rage 2 review (GEN) Reviewed on October 31, 2003 STORY: Only a year has passed since the trio of Adam, Axel, and Blaze overthrew the evil syndicate, Mr. X, making the city's deadly streets peaceful. 	Rocket Knight Adventures review (GEN) Reviewed on October 31, 2003 The joyous Kingdom of Zebulos has suddenly come under attack from the evil Devotindos Empire. Zebulan forces were not powerful enough to put a halt to the various armies made up of pigs, so it's up to a brave opossum named Sparkster to try to help out the King of Zebulos. The king's daughter, the Princess, has also been kidnapped. Sparkster boldly agrees to try and find her during his journey.
	OutRun 2019 review (GEN) Reviewed on October 31, 2003 ''The need for speed.'' An insatiable thirst that few possess. What is it about driving real fast that those speed demons like so much? Is it finding out just how high they can make that speedometer go? How about the unforgettable feeling of having gallons of adrenaline flowing wildly through their veins? He was orphaned while only a newborn, and he ended up being raised in the jungle by a pack of wolves that somehow managed to change those dirty diapers, provide him with almost a gallon of milk a day, and do everything else for him that needed to be done. But not all creatures that reside in the temperate bounds of the jungle are crazy about ''man cubs''.
	Cool Spot review (GEN) Reviewed on October 31, 2003 Like the title suggests, in Cool Spot, you get to control the cool little red spot that walks and wears a pair of shades. Seeing that this unsung celebrity has been stuck on billions of 7-up cans and has been seen in a few commercials, the makers decided that he deserved his very own video game at long last.
	Krusty's Super Funhouse review (GEN) Reviewed on September 06, 2003 This is the kind of game that has good ideas in and could have been very good but isn't because the good ideas haven't been put to full potential or they went in the wrong direction. I feel sorry for this game, it could have been great.
	Disney's Pinocchio review (GEN) Reviewed on September 01, 2003 The Sega Genesis and the SNES seemed to be the platforms of choice for Disney game back then, as pretty much all Disney movies have had a game based on them on either systems. The Disney games at this time were not what they are today (i.e. kiddy), they were actually pretty good and fun (minus the Beauty and Beast games), any old-school gamer could tell it. This brings me to talk about the Pinocchio game, released in 1996.
	Taz-Mania review (GEN) Reviewed on September 01, 2003 Good sidescrolling platformers weren't that hard to make back in time; take a friendly character, put him on a quest across the land, give him a few powers, add a couple of items here and there, put in some bosses... and there you go, you have your super platformer. Taz-Mania for the Genesis seems to have been made based on that model, and it is indeed a good game, although I'm not too sure whether or not Taz is a friendly character.
