Final Fantasy VIII (PlayStation)

Final Fantasy VIII review (PSX)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

The music is uninteresting for the most part (with the slight exception of a few good songs), and the graphics leave much to be desired. It can be fun at times, but most of the time the game seems like a chore.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (Dreamcast)

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 review (DC)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

If you're even a remote fan of Marvel comic books, Capcom fighting games, or fighting games in general, then this game has something to offer to you.

The Granstream Saga (PlayStation)

The Granstream Saga review (PSX)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Maybe this game was just poorly translated. The game is so linear, I don't think you really have a choice as to what you want to do (reminds me of the first 11-13 hours of Final Fantasy 7, where you're in that power plant). I literally want to scream while playing this game.

Pikmin (GameCube)

Pikmin review (GCN)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

In your search to find the ship parts, you must, of course, rely on the Pikmin to help you through your tasks. Up to 100 may be in the field at any time, either following (or fighting with) Olimar, laying idle, breaking down gates, or carrying objects back to their...

NBA Hangtime review (N64)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

One question pops into mind when playing this game - How can a game that was so fun, so fast, and so easy to play be turned into THIS hideous awful crap?

Wild Arms (PlayStation)

Wild Arms review (PSX)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

It's also great for someone who doesn't want to get entangled in a more-complicated RPG like Lunar, with all the elaborate video sequences and character parts. This is a core RPG. It has most of the RPG elements without all the flash.

Goldeneye 007 (Nintendo 64)

Goldeneye 007 review (N64)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

When the Nintendo 64 struggled a bit after it's lightning fast start, some people started looking around for a savior. Thankfully, Goldeneye came along, and provided ultra-fast and fun first-person shooter (FPS) gameplay for the Nintendo 64 crowd.

Grand Theft Auto III (PlayStation 2)

Grand Theft Auto III review (PS2)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Playstation 2 owners certainly have a lot of reasons to be happy this past year. 2001 saw the release of several great titles like Final Fantasy X, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and Metal Gear Solid 2. While these are great games, there is one title in particular that I believe is Game of the Year: Grand Theft Auto 3.

Onimusha: Warlords (PlayStation 2)

Onimusha: Warlords review (PS2)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

If you're familiar with Capcom's own Resident Evil series, you'll probably have a good idea of how Onimusha plays. The simplest way to think of it is Resident Evil, in ancient China, with a few RPG elements. But that's only the simple explanation. It also has many other aspects which are reminiscent of a variety of genres. There will be

Doom 64 (Nintendo 64)

Doom 64 review (N64)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

If there's a bad point about Doom, in some people's eyes, it's that the series remains largely unchanged. This game won't change their minds. However, if you have played a Doom game and enjoyed it, then give this one a shot. It's a pretty safe bet that you'll enjoy this one too.

NFL 2K2 (PlayStation 2)

NFL 2K2 review (PS2)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

For many years, there has really only been one name in console football simulations; that of John Madden and his excellent Electronic Arts’ title. Sure, there are other titles to choose from but Madden has always been so good, gamers instinctively stick to this series. But with the end of the Dreamcast, Sega Sports has decided to import it’s own football title to other systems. NFL2K2 might be the closest rival Madden has in the console world.

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (Nintendo 64)

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire review (N64)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire tries to be a first person shooter, a dogfighting flight game, and to have a successful game based on the Star Wars license. On the first two claims there's noticable shortcomings, and on the third claim, well, the fact that no one remembers this title...

Oni (PlayStation 2)

Oni review (PS2)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

In fact, this was the first game where I've actually had to use the R3 and L3 buttons. Running and jumping is easy enough, but when it comes to maneuvering, you're screwed. The camera doesn't help this either, as it always seems to be in the wrong place.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time review (N64)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

This was the game people had been waiting long long years for. In movie sense, it is Star Wars Episode One. However, with expectations this high, Zelda 64 was bound to disappoint some people, myself included.

Star Wars: Starfighter (PlayStation 2)

Star Wars: Starfighter review (PS2)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

This feature allows you to zoom in on the enemy for some precision shots. After the first mission you should be able to pick up all the controls and become a legit Starfighter pilot. Thank you Lucas Arts for making this a simple game to pick up and play.

Deja Vu I & II: The Casebooks of Ace Harding review (GBC)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

The story is Deja Vu's strong point and the reason you'll keep playing. If you don't get into the story, then you'll have little reason to play the game.

TimeSplitters (PlayStation 2)

TimeSplitters review (PS2)

After you grab the item in the level you need to go back to the beginning where the exit is, but there is a twist: now you must fight the timesplitters. These nasty little buggers can kill you outright in 2 or 3 hits!

Pikmin (GameCube)

Pikmin review (GCN)

Reviewed on Date Unknown

Kinda like a cross between a Real-time strategy and a puzzle game Pikmin is a game where you play as a spaceman who has crashed his ship on a strage planet, and the only way to fix it and get home to to enlist the aid of the freaky little critters called Pikmin. Appearently the Creator, genius Shingeru Miyamoto, got the idea for this game while tending his garden at home. oddly enough, the way to win this game is to collect your small gang of ragtag pikmin and gather food tablets for them, placi...
