	Godzilla review (C64) Reviewed on May 04, 2011 Has there ever been a Godzilla movie where the military succeeded in defeating him without the help of another monster or a cockamamie invention? No. Congrats, you're the first nimrod in history to accidentally kill Godzilla with the military.
	Conduit 2 review (WII) Reviewed on May 03, 2011 Conduit 2 is fine for Wii owners searching for a decent shooter, but fans of the genre shouldn’t expect anything special from it.
	Pokémon Black Version review (DS) Reviewed on May 02, 2011 When you are wandering the wilds between towns, there often are places where the road simply stops. Then you must traverse tall grass or dark sand or whatever. That has always been true, but now every third or fourth step from the beaten path seems to result in a random encounter. That’s not an exaggeration. I’ve counted on multiple occasions. Sometimes I would win a battle, take one step and then immediately find myself in another battle. I was hoping to take at least two or three steps.
	Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger review (PC) Reviewed on May 02, 2011 I feel a bit guilty for panning anybody’s first effort, and my hope that a decent game can be made from this premise is genuine. But the only thing you’ll find here is mounting disappointment and enough dropped balls to start a play pit with.
	Dead Space 2 review (X360) Reviewed on May 01, 2011 In the very first scene – before we even take control – Isaac is talking to a guy who’s trying to get him out of his straitjacket, and then the guy gets stabbed in the face by an infector, and then scythes sprout out of his back, and then his face peels off, and then he goes “BLEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRKLLKEJBGFMVRSKGUSBOVMOCDGJEBSHRV!” And then the game gets loud.
	Mafia II review (PS3) Reviewed on April 30, 2011 [Mafia II] doesn't pave new ground and it probably won't be remembered as one of the greatest mafia stories ever told across any medium, but it is the best mafia story that our industry has ever told and I think that's something to celebrate.
	Sea Monster review (A2600) Reviewed on April 30, 2011 Sea Monster is another obscure Atari 2600 game lost in the depths. The name might stir the imagination and prompt a lover of esoterica to search it out. You might think the game sets you up as the eponymous beast devouring snack after snack--sharks, whales, unwary swimmer--and racking up points.
	WWF Smackdown review (PSX) Reviewed on April 28, 2011 The advent of the McMahon-Helmsley era, The Rock 'N' Sock Connection, and a complete revamp of The Undertaker. Then along comes Smackdown!.
	Hang On review (SMS) Reviewed on April 28, 2011 Hang On is still enjoyable, in its small way.
	Bart Simpson's Escape from Camp Deadly review (GB) Reviewed on April 27, 2011 Escaping the woods to the mess hall offers no solace. There the platforming is nixed and an all out food fight ensues. While this sounds like an exciting battle royale involving food and foolery, it's merely a scene of straightforward side-scrolling with the occasional press of the B button. Leave it up to Imagineering to make murdering someone with a hamburger or piece of broccoli feel tedious.
	Portal 2 review (PS3) Reviewed on April 26, 2011 So there you go. Portal 2 might not have been the brain-teaser I’d hoped for, but it is too much a breath of fresh air in a world of stale design for me not to be impressed by it. If more designers did things like Valve we’d have... well, we’d only have one game released every two years. But it would be a goddamn incredible game.
	Eye of the Beholder review (AMIGA) Reviewed on April 26, 2011 Taken for what it is - an old-school immersive dungeon crawler - this game still holds up today.
	Portal 2 review (X360) Reviewed on April 25, 2011 Breaking free of the chains and finally seeing what lies beyond Aperture’s white test chamber walls was one of Portal’s greatest pleasures, and the sequel mimics that sense of discovery beautifully. The key difference is that when Portal 2 reaches this point, the game has only just begun.
	Jackie Chan's Action Kung-Fu review (TG16) Reviewed on April 25, 2011 Big-headedness ruled the roost on the Turbografx-16, and we had developers Hudson Soft to thank. From Bonk’s Adventure to JJ & Jeff, Hudson had a stranglehold on the burgeoning cutesy 2D platformer featuring characters with massive noggins genre.
	Portal 2 review (X360) Reviewed on April 24, 2011 So, if Portal is the equivalent to a Pixar short that pops up before a lame Disney movie, then Portal 2 is the full-length Pixar follow-up.
	Bust-A-Move Universe review (3DS) Reviewed on April 24, 2011 What Arika doesn’t appear to have realized is that players will want some substance, even if they’re ready to forgive the lack of a three-dimensional twist. Past Bust-A-Move games have provided all sorts of bells and whistles that kept people playing for a long while, but here there’s very little reason to keep playing beyond the first few hours.
	Crystal Defenders review (X360) Reviewed on April 23, 2011 Even if you have the proper characters on the map, sometimes that’s not enough. You might have placed a bunch of archers but if none of them are leveled up, later foes can shrug off their attacks and rush through an entire gauntlet of archers or wizards. Since every level a character gains costs you more gold than the previous one did, Crystal Defenders becomes one of the most exhilarating games about effective resource management that you’ll find on Xbox Live. A single mistake can be enough to throw off your whole approach.
	Crime Lab: Body of Evidence review (DS) Reviewed on April 23, 2011 Crime Lab tries to present an interesting run through puzzles and crime scene investigation, but it's underwhelming in all respects.
	Beyond Good & Evil HD review (X360) Reviewed on April 23, 2011 The Live Arcade download is a perfect way for any of the too many people who missed out upon release to catch up. It has shiny new HD enhancements, and Christophe Héral’s fantastically atypical score is all the sharper. More to the point, it’s an easy way to snag a great game without going outside. I hear there’s wolves out there.
	Mortal Kombat review (X360) Reviewed on April 23, 2011 Mortal Kombat seems now to be a good ol' friend of us gamers, having been splattering our screens with decapitated heads and ridiculously bloody limbs for nearly two decades, and whilst it's always nice to have a polished and sparkling new addition to an old saga, of course there's always that running risk of defacing a series which has set such a high bench mark for fans internationally.
