Goodbye GameStop!

I lasted an amazing two months there and it was one of the worst working experiences of my life. Management has serious communication issues, they rule their employees by fear, and fire people without any explanation. I wasn't fired. I quit because of the aforementioned reasons and because of the three hours of daily commuting.

I am now back at my old used-media store. It's right around the corner from my house, the owner matched my pay, and I get to buy the latest releases for ungodly cheap prices. Best of all though, I will finally have time to play games and write again. All I've had time for lately was updating game listings. It's necessary, but it's nowhere near as enjoyable.

That's about all for now.

Wow, congratulations! Having more time to do what you want without taking a cut in pay (and without the fuel expenses and BS at work) is a big deal. I hope you can take time to enjoy life now. And to contribute to the site in ways that you enjoy more, of course... but that was assumed. ;-)

I'm glad you cut down on your commute time. I can't even imagine how much it would suck spending that much of your day getting to and from work.

Oh and do you work this Friday? I'm going to Chicago on Thursday and could drop in for a few hours on Friday.

You just picked the absolute worst day. One of Lauren's friends is getting married, and of course, I have to be there. If you want pull up in a full-size van, throw a large burlap sack over me, and drive off, that would be all sorts of awesome.

It's good that you're at a better job. I would've hated that.

And as for the wedding, just play your DS the whole time.
