Hi.

Man, between work and watching college basketball with the aid of alcohol, I've been swamped the last few weeks, which has meant no real free time for much of anything else. As far as reviewing goes, things have been slow mainly because I'm still trying to work through some PS2 RPGs and considering that they tend to take 100 hours if you do the bonus dungeons and whatnot, that can take awhile.

Anyway, I'll have one or two reviews up this week, for those who've subscribed to my personal fan club and are interested.

Oh, here's a question for anyone who's played/is playing Final Fantasy XII. I got this friend who's playing it and has taken over 200 hours and still hasn't finished it. Now he has done a lot of marks/rare monster quests, so that would bump up the playtime, but 200 hours? So, anyway, my question is: "IS HE A TOTAL FUCKING RETARD??".

The answer to your question: not really.

I also have 200 hours logged on my FFXII save. A good 75% of that was me leaving my PS2 on overnight to use the Negalmuur auto-level exploit, so maybe your friend did the same.. (A Lv.85+ team is a must for beating Yiazmat.)

My bracket is a motherfucking BEAST this year. The Suckeyes not sucking hurt me a little but I'm still in first place in my pool, bitches.

I wish I could tell you that was the case, but it's not. He's never mentioned anything like that and mainly bitches and moans about his lack of organization and inability to focus on whatever he's set out to do, leading him to run around aimlessly, I guess. He never had that sort of problem with 7-9, although it took him about 100 hours each with them — but that was mainly due to obsessively overleveling his party. Here, he just seems to....I don't know....wander around aimlessly, I guess. He's always talking about how he can't believe how huge the game's world is and with the exception of FF 7-9, really hasn't played any RPGs, so maybe he's just mentally inadequate. I'll have to bring that up to him at length.

Classic! Although I neither have red hair nor a blood-covered face. But, other than that, that pretty much describes my average night.

Might would kick ass, but I lost too many the first two rounds. I had 7 of the great 8 and all four of the final four, but only had 10 of the sweet 16.
