Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

I had fun typing this one. I was in a fairly whimsical mood. Or just more insane than usual.

In the near future will be my take on Modern Warfare 2, which should be interesting considering my general apathy towards multiplayer stuff, which is a big part of this game's appeal. Will I have liked the campaign enough to praise this game?!? Tune in to find out!

And I'm going through a few borrow'd PS2 games. Playing Baldur's Gate 2 right now. Which makes me wish I was a barbarian who could solve all my problems with a big-ass axe. And also borrow'd X-Men Legends 2, Call of Duty 3 and one of the PS2 Castlevanias. Fun times ahead for me. Or suicide, but hopefully fun times.

Looks like we've both come up with the idea of using X-Men games to punch out that tricky X in the Alpha Marathon. I just recently played (and enjoyed) Wolverine myself.

I was kinda the same when I reviewed this... couldn't decide whether I liked it or hated it. Averaged out at a 5. I wrote that review when I was still on that fantasy planet, long before I got to the twist. I meant to re-write the review when I finished the game, but I never did. I doubt I ever will, really. I'm pretty decided on my opinion now - I do not like the game.

I played that game for like two hours and gave up. Unlikable characters, inferior battle system to SO2, had absolutely no charm. Can't comment on the story since it wasn't gripping enough to stick around for the story.

I think I may be done with RPGs for a while. I'm just noticing that they don't grab me the way they used to. Your review gets me interested in SO2, but I somehow know I wouldn't enjoy it.
