Monsters vs. Aliens
I'm also nearing the end of Breath of Fire. About the next thing I'll be doing is going to Scande to fight Emperor Zog, which sets up the final dungeon or two. That possibly will be my next review and after that.......there are many possibilities.

I liked your review, Overdrive. It's funny that you aimed the review at a true gaming crowd, rather than a bunch of kids. Stick to what you know, I suppose. I can't really see a real gamer buying this, but it still made for a surprisingly thorough and honest review.

You know, Zipp, it's funny you say that. I started and deleted the first paragraph-plus once and then heavily edited the second take because I was struggling with the slant I was taking.
I basically had to write it from a more hardcore-gamer perspective because this game is essentially a dumbed-down version of the sort of game hardcore gamers would like. Far easier and forgiving, but the same general principle. It's the sort of game I could see a hardcore gamer buy his younger brother or cousin to kinda give him a tutorial in what's out there right now.
While I wouldn't suggest anyone here buy this game, I would say that if they had a younger relative or neighbor they game with from time to time, this'd be a pretty fun thing to rent for an afternoon.
