Yesterday, I found out something potentially great. The translation patch for the Super Famicom version of Emerald Dragon was completed, so many months after reading Zig's kickass review for the TG-CD version, I'll get to play (one version of) the game myself!

Felix_Arabia - February 04, 2008 (08:00 PM) OD, you should just shell out $9 for a Turbo CD copy of Emerald Dragon. And then you should shell out several hundred for a Duo. :-@ |

overdrive - February 04, 2008 (09:32 PM) Felix Then, how much do I need to shell out to be fluent in Japanese? This is the only American translation of the game on ANY system. Suskie It's a neat game. Look at my review of Traysia. Now imagine a vastly superior story and that crap game's battle system done right. That's Emerald Dragon in a nutshell. This game's gonna be fun! |

Felix_Arabia - February 04, 2008 (09:36 PM) You know, I actually forgot about this little, itty-bitty issue. I bought GUTS' copy (though I didn't know he was the seller) and didn't play it much. If I had time, I know it would be a great RPG. Also, it is considerably cheaper than most Turbo CD titles of its quality, which is peculiar, I think. |
