Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is a complete 3DS remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, and there have already been several announcements as to changes the game has gone through to better take advantage of the hardware. Should the info on one Japanese site selling the game prove accurate, there's even more yet to be announced.

MMORPGs are huge, complicated games, and it's not uncommon for them to have a rough start. Still, it's rare to hear about huge server queues before a game is technically released to the public. That's exactly what's already happening in Star Wars: The Old Republic, though. People who pre-ordered the game have early access, and are reportedly being forced to wait in line for quite a while before being able to play.

The publisher today announced the original Souls game is getting a holiday-themed gameplay twist in what they're dubbing "Pure White World Tendency."

Anarchy Reigns, the online brawler from PlatinumGames and SEGA, has hit a bit of a snag and won't be arriving quite as soon as originally anticipated. Originally planned to release in January, it will now be arriving on PS3 and Xbox 360 in July of 2012.

Capcom's brought a lot of games to Xbox Live, many of them remakes of gaming classics from the company's past. However, they've released so many that getting all of them would be an expensive ordeal. Thankfully, Capcom will be lowering that bar of entry with the upcoming Capcom Digital Collection, which will put eight of their Xbox Live games onto a single disc for a comparatively low $39.99.

Humble Indie Bundle 4 is now live. As before, gamers are allowed to set their own price and pay what they want for five (or seven) hit indie games. This time around, the bundle includes Jamestown, Bit.Trip Runner, Super Meat boy, Shank, and NightSky. What's more, if you choose to pay more than the current average price, you'll get Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles as a bonus. That's seven games, valued at around $100 separately.

Recently announced at Spike TV's Video Game Awards, The Last of Us is the next big game from Naughty Dog, creators of the Uncharted franchise. From the trailer, not much could be gleaned but that it was about a man and a young girl trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. However, Sony has released a bit more info that some may find of interest.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising was not to be heard from again until this weekend, when the game was re-revealed at the Spike Video Game Awards with a new trailer. Or was it? It looked pretty drastically different from what we had already seen. Sure, Raiden was there with his sword, but the action was insane. More along the lines of Bayonetta than Metal Gear Solid.

It's interesting to note that many of the year's most played games came out relatively recently. Case and point: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the year's most played RPG and most played game overall, and it was released just under a month ago. Those bugs and memory restrictions apparently having that big an effect on playtime.
