The NDP may not be as forthcoming with sales figures as it once was, but it has revealed the early sales numbers of March's Kid Icarus: Uprising. It managed to move 140,000 units in the eight days between its launch and the end of the month, making it one of the top ten selling platform-specific versions of a game last month. (Exactly where in that top ten list Uprising places remains a mystery.)

The company announced today that Assassin's Creed III, the fifth installment in the popular series about a fellow named Desmond who dives into the memories of his ancestors to kill people throughout various time periods, is on track to become the most pre-ordered game in Ubisoft's history.
