Play Kinect Star Wars with this Star Wars Kinect and Xbox 360 console bundle

Kinect Star Wars image

Many moons ago, in the ancient month of July 2011, Microsoft released a picture of a spiffy new Xbox 360 bundle with a Star Wars theme. Pictured above, the R2-D2-themed console, gold C-3PO controller, and (one assumes) ice planet Hoth-colored Kinect made Star Wars fans drool.

We finally have a few more important details, such as a launch date and price. The console launches April 3rd (the same day as Kinect Star Wars) for $449.99. It, of course, includes the special edition console, controller, Kinect sensor, as well as a copy of the game and a code for an exclusive DLC dance mode. The official press release doesn't mention the size of the included hard drive, but Amazon is listing it at 320gb.

If you feel like you don't necessarily need another Xbox 360 and Kinect, Kinect Star Wars launches April 3rd for the standard Kinect "budget" price of $49.99.
