EA and BioWare announced today Mass Effect 3's in-game pre-order bonuses, which will hopefully make Commander Shepard's fight to save the galaxy a bit easier.

The first bonus is the M55 Argus Assault Rifle, a burst-fire weapon that's "deadly at any range." (I can hear all the pew pewing already!) Those pre-ordering at GameStop in the U.S. and Canada will also get some N7 Warfare Gear, which consists of the N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle (more pewing!) and the N7 Defender Armor, which offers Shepard some increased health, damage resistance, more ammo capacity and increased weapon damage.

If you're pre-ordering ME3 through EA's digital distribution service, Origin, though, you can't get in on this N7 snazziness. Instead, you'll get the AT-12 Raider Shotgun, which fires a large pellet spread (PEW) to devastate close-range targets.

Mass Effect 3 hits shelves March 6, 2012. Obviously, if you want any of these pewosities, you should probably go pre-order it now.

PEW!
