Sega Announces Release Dates for Upcoming 3DS Games

Sega announced today release dates for several of their upcoming 3DS games. Shinobi is first up, the latest entry in the classic ninja side scroller series that began on arcades in the 80s. This new installment launches November 11th in Europe and November 15th in North America.

Sega announced today release dates for several of their upcoming 3DS games. Shinobi is first up, the latest entry in the classic ninja side scroller series that began on arcades in the 80s. This new installment launches November 11th in Europe and November 15th in North America.

For more classic Sega platforming, Sonic Generations hits the shelves in Europe on November 22nd and America on the 25th. This handheld version of the upcoming console game has a few unique features not found in the PS3 and 360 versions, including tons of unique missions and StreetPass functionality.

Early next year, Sega will bring out Crush 3D, an updated version of the PSP game, Crush. Crush 3D is a puzzle platformer in the vein of games like Fez and Super Paper Mario. Using perspective and the ability to shift between 2D and 3D versions of the game world, players avoid obstacles and progress through levels. Crush 3D hits January 10th in North America and January 13th in Europe.

Finally, the sure-to-be ridiculously successful Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games comes February 10th in Europe and Valentine's Day in North America. What better way to say "I love you" than with sprinting minigames in which it's somehow possible for Bowser to outrun Sonic?
