PSA: Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward out now, 999 on sale at Amazon
Pick up this hidden gem and soon-to-be hidden gem.
Did you play 999 (Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors) when it came out back in 2010? I didn't think so! Lucky for you, Amazon is offering the DS puzzle/visual novel game for 25% off its regular price. Normally sold for the already-low price of $19.99, you can get it now for $15.91 for a limited time. I highly recommend it. The text in 999 can be infuriatingly slow, but the story it tells is captivating enough to put up with the sluggish presentation. Several different endings will make you want to replay it again and again.
The sale is in celebration of the Vita sequel, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, hitting shelves and PSN today. If you dig 999, definitely give the sequel a shot as well. Both are developed by Chun Soft and published in the US by Aksys Games.
