Telltale still plans to release the retail collection of the first season of Walking Dead game episodes on December 4th. If you're interested in the game and are unfamiliar with the source material, there's a Collector's Edition just for you.
The pre-order-only Gamestop-exclusive Collector's Edition bundle includes a copy of the game (duhr) and the fist Walking Dead comic compendium. That's the first 48 Walking Dead comics, working out to over a thousand pages. Both the game and compendium feature brand new art from Charlie Adlard, the artist for the Walking Dead comic.
The stand-alone disc will retail for $29.99 and the collector's edition bundle with be priced at $69.99, which may not be the most appealing price after you realize you can buy the whole Walking Dead season for $19.99 digitally and the first compendium isn't hard to find for just over $30. Still, Charlie Adlard!
