Borderlands 2's next DLC outed by PS3 trophies

Gearbox will follow up Pirate's Booty with Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.

Hot off the pirate heels of Borderlands 2's first downloadable content pack, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, comes word of the next DLC by way of a PlayStation trophies listing. A tipster sent this image to Joystiq, showing the next expansion will be named Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.

It certainly makes sense, considering Torgue is a weapons manufacturer in Borderlands' lore. And, well, carnage is one way to describe the gameplay Gearbox Software's latest hit. Aside from those two hints, Kotaku uncovered a couple of resumes that hinted at a Borderlands 2 expansion with the name "Torgue" in it. So there's some more validation.

Gearbox, of course, hasn't made a peep regarding Torgue's Campaign of Carnage yet, but we'll keep you up-to-date.
