Metro 2033 will be half-priced on Xbox Live tomorrow
Waiting two-and-a-half years for it was pretty smart of you!
THQ's 2010 post-apocalyptic shooter, Metro 2033, will get a fifty percent discount on Xbox Live tomorrow, according to a Joystiq report. The game, usually $20 via Xbox Live's Games on Demand, will be cut to $10 until Oct. 22, the publisher told the site.
Based on the Russian novel with the same title, Metro 2033 faired very well with critics, and was apparently enough of a seller to warrant a sequel: the upcoming Metro: Last Light.
So if you're at all interested in how Russia fairs after nuclear war -- or, well, if you just never played Metro 2033 -- you might not want to pass it up for $10. It's a fun, atmospheric shooter that differentiates itself from the herd by sporting some nifty survival components.
