LittleBigPlanet Vita street date lifted
No online service yet, though.
If you went into a store that sells video games over the weekend, you might have noticed something a little odd: LittleBigPlanet Vita games, on shelves and ready for purchase.
Sony has lifted the September 25th street date for the game, allowing retailers to sell the game now. Well, actually, it kind of sounds like a bunch of retailers just decided to break the street date and Sony lifted it rather than fight the situation. "...due to the excitement from our retail partners, some have decided to put it on shelves as soon as the product was received," says a post on the PlayStation Blog. Hey, whatever gets the games into people's hands earlier.
Online service won't start until tomorrow, but early buyers have full access to the offline story mode and level creator. The digital version of the game still has the planned release date of September 25th.
