MMA Mila for Dead or Alive 5
Combat viable clothing optional.
Tina and Mila are honestly looking as sensible as ever.
Under the guise of "Japanese sensibility," Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi was unapologetic concerning his use of female anatomy comprised of gelatin, in an interview with MCV.
Hayashi was certainly quick to write off the blatant hyper-sexualised cast of women in Dead or Alive as culture-specific "common sense" unfamiliar to the Western world, but Hayashi later told Gamasutra that realism will be the gameplan for Dead or Alive 5.
"In DoA 5 especially, we're trying to focus on the real women that surround us: the voice of a female, the mannerisms. We are being realistic about it."
Mila is the upbeat diner waitress and MMA fighter introduced in the new trailer, and her story just might evolve into the "emotional experience" that Hayashi is supposedly striving for.
A more, uh, rounded Dead or Alive experience may or may not continue to mean triangle tops in three sizes too small.
