Remember Me is Capcom's intriguing new IP
Prepare to hunt for memories in 2013.
Capcom today announced Remember Me, a stealthy, sci-fi action game that establishes yet another new intellectual property for the publisher after this year's Dragons Dogma.
Developed by the Paris-based DONTNOD Entertainment, the third-person adventure stars "an elite memory hunter" named Nilin: a short-haired, tanned female with the special ability to steal people's memories. Nilin's memory was erased, and it looks like it'll be up to the player to answer the who, what, when, where and how.
Aesthetically, the game screams Deus Ex: Human Revolution at me, while the combat seen in this trailer reminds me of Rocksteady's Batman titles. That's certainly a good omen for Capcom's latest IP, as both those games are pretty darn good.
Remember Me currently has a May 2013 release date.
