Mass Effect 3's Leviathan DLC formally announced for summer release [Updated]

Mass Effect 3's next single player downloadable content is officially official: The Leviathan DLC will launch this summer, announced EA today at its Summer Showcase.
The DLC's existence was initially revealed by Anthony Skordi, a voice actor who does the voice of Leviathan, a rogue Reaper, in the expansion. Leviathan will allow players to learn more about the origins of the Reapers, as well as meet new characters and acquire new weapons and upgrades.
No pricing was announced for the single player expansion pack, nor was a more exact release date aside from "summer." Of course, once we hear any word of either one of those details, we'll let you know.
Update: BioWare made the Leviathan announcement on its website, on which a $10 price (800 Microsoft Points) was placed on the DLC, which will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. A more exact release date has yet to be announced.
