Grand Theft Auto III's PSN release postponed
"Unforeseen complications" have barred GTA3 from being available as planned today.
Last week, we reported Rockstar's beloved Grand Theft Auto III would be available on the PlayStation Network today. Well, you can't have it!
Wait! Don't go! It's not that we lied or anything. Sony just had some "unforeseen complications" that barred GTA3 from being included in today's PSN Store update, according to the PlayStation Blog.
"Due to an unforeseen complication, the Grand Theft Auto III PS2 Classic is not publishing with today’s Store post," wrote Grad Chen, the PlayStation Store's director, on the blog. "We will update you when a new release date has been identified. We apologize for the inconvenience."
I know. I know. You're bummed. Not only is GTA3 not on PSN right now, but we don't have a clue as to when it will be. But let's look at the important story here: We didn't lie to you.
We'll let you know once Sony solves its "complications" and makes Fido's adventure available for download. In the meantime, would an iOS or Android version of the game interest you?
