Anarchy Reigns NA release "re-evaluated," moved back
Sounds like it's coming after all. Eventually.
Just over a month before its previously confirmed North American release date of July 7th, Sega of America changed their listed date for Anarchy Reigns to "TBC" (or "to be confirmed"). Things were looking grim for Platinum's online brawler when E3 came and went and no mention was made of the game.
Sega's official Twitter account is now casually replying to tweets questioning the game's future with a hopeful message. "The release of Anarchy Reigns has been re-evaluated. We now expect to launch in Europe and America in Q1 of 2013." Perhaps they wanted to avoid the non-existent July game deluge.
While a 6+ month delay isn't exactly good news, any release is certainly better than none. The game's localization is reportedly completely finished already. (The demo released a few weeks ago includes the option to switch all menu, subtitle, and voice settings to English.)
