Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection sneaks to PS Vita June 12
Prepare to Transfar real soon.
Konami today announced the PS Vita version of Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection would finally slither its way to shelves on June 12 in North America.
Almost a carbon copy of the packages released in November 2011 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the Vita version of the collection will include HDified versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Notably missing, though, is Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the 2010 PSP title that's already available for download in the PlayStation Store to Vita users.
Owners of the console version of the collection who also purchase the Vita edition will have the ability to "Transfar," or transfer their save files from their console play sessions to the Vita and vice versa, which is pretty neat, but somewhat of an expensive luxury.
Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection for Vita will retail for a suggested price of $39.99.
