New game beaten, new games added
July 19, 2007

First, in pointless news from my gaming life, I finally sat down and beat Shadow Man (N64 version) on Tuesday. It only took me eight years. I got all 120 Govi, but only 456 of the Cadeaux. I seriously doubt I'll even attempt to find the remaining forty-four. Any considerations I entertained for a guide were also banished; first, the damn Cadeaux, and second, the terrible ending REALLY pissed me off.

In other news, I squandered a third of my paycheck on some "new" old N64 games. Jet Force Gemini, Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, and Turoks 1 & 2 now grace my library once again. I also got Banjo-Tooie, which, bizarrely, I have never owned or played before, despite loving the original so dearly. The real prize, however, is Ogre Battle 64. I beat the odds and actually found one in a used game shop. Screw you, eBay!

Guides for Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie are almost certainly on the horizon. In the meantime, I must squeeze forty-five dollars of gameplay out of Ogre Battle 64.

Megadittoes!

I like the original Ogre Battle better, but you made a good find just the same. $45 seems like a good price if it's in good condition.

Congrats on the find. Ogre Battle 6 is one of the next games I want to try out, but it's been harder for me to find. I am getting back into N64 as well. Right now I am considering starting a Paper mario file.
