I tried Hitman again today (Blood Money version; Xbox 360) and I was on the second mission. Well ... I had some difficulty going through the mission.
First of all. I wanted to get an SA ranking. Badly. For the achievement.
Well, the GameSpot guide and the helpful guides on GameFaqs ensured my goal more.
So, I began. Checked the guides every two seconds and such. Just to be sure.
I quickly got the clothes, successfully killed my first target with a few wine barrels and now my next kill was closer to me than ever. Of course, not literally, but metophorically.
I began to work. I figured sniping the son-of-a-gun would be my best bet. Well, my angle was limited, and my scope could only capture his legs on the balcony, where his sight was only visible through the small space created between two bars that stood to help the balcony railing in place, as confusing as that may sound.
I popped a dozen bullets when he came out. Missed every time and I'm considering myself sucky at it.
I go to place my rifle away, after I decide to go to the OTHER alternative. Well, as soon as I'm loading in the gun into the case, bullets fly at me. Guards heard my shooting.
It's apparent. Well. I die. I try again and disregard sniping. Instead, I'm going with that other alternative.
So, I head down, get a new outfit and I go along and climb up a water pipe and onto the roof of my target's mansion. Hop through the window and there's my target. Sitting. Staring out the doors that are opened, which reveal the balcony. He's playing the cello.
Go time.
I sneak behind him and choke him in a second, literally, with my fiberwire. I throw him over the railing and now I'm good. Head along escape and I'm waiting for that achievement box.
It comes.
I check.
IT'S...
Not Silent Assassin.
But in fact, "Accidents do happen..." and I reclaim my points of 20 to my GamerScore.
Woo.
Well, I'll try again at a later date. The third mission, I hope, will be easier.
EDIT: I mean, I hope the next mission will be harder. I enjoy a good challenge and this game is exactly what I'm looking for.
