I got Prey today.

So, I drove home and popped in the fragile disc into my Xbox 360. I flicked through the options. Checked the achievements (which by the way, are really challenging and half of them are online). Next.

I go onto Xbox Live. Yes. I loooooove Xbox Live. Love it. COD2 has been my main target for Live lately, and I love it. This, unfortunately, I do not.

It's very clunky and when I first started...I experienced serious lags in the gameplay and the guns people utilized were incredibly cheap. I was getting blown away and I had about three kills, which compared to my now skill, isn't too bad.

After the game ended (after all, it was shortlived because the frag limit was five kills :p), I then experienced the next serious problem.

Finding a game.

Finding a GOOD match on Prey online is like finding a GOOD Tony Hawk these days. I spent 45 minutes flipping through countless games and they all disconnected of the host. Finally, I got into a game.

It was alright.

As I began to play more, I enjoyed it more. And I began to cooperate on the online achievements. Haven't got one yet, but I'm hoping too soon. Probably late tonight.

The good thing also, is the only two modes on Xbox Live for Prey are Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. No of that Capture the Flag crap. Hate that stuff.

Yeah. I hit Prey singleplayer tomorrow.

	janus - July 20, 2006 (03:06 AM) Using the portals is exciting, but the maps are uninspired and the guns don't make for easy combat. You can't change the set-ups to take ridiculous weapons out, either. The other day a few of us decided to do wrenches-only, but this never works because you get some jackass coming on and blowing everyone up with an AutoCannon. The lag is unbelievable, too. It freezes the action in EVERY match I've played so far. COD2 and Perfect Dark Zero are SO much better.
	microvision - July 20, 2006 (05:37 AM) COD2 is unbelievable on Live. Best game so far. I do, however, have Perfect Dark Zero, but I haven't really gotten into yet. Maybe soon.
