I want to review another game, but I'm pretty much at a loss as to which one. If anyone would like to see a particular game reviewed in my Game's list, I'm open to suggestions.

EmP - October 07, 2006 (11:43 AM) I would only back that suggestion up if it was a BASH. Urgh, Vagrant story... I suggest Persona. Not enough people know of that game. |

lasthero - October 07, 2006 (01:10 PM) LastHero suggests Suikoden III. Or, what about Virtua Fighter 4, since that seems to be a good game for you at the moment. :/ |

maru - October 08, 2006 (03:50 AM) Zig:I humbly suggest Vagrant Story. That seems like a tough one. It's pretty epic, but I'm getting ideas. I think I may go with that one, but it'll be a pretty ambitious project for me. EmP:I would only back that suggestion up if it was a BASH. Urgh, Vagrant story... The site already has one bash (5/10) and one semi-bash (7/10), which might be my prime motivation for writing a review on VS. To tip the scales a little. Yeah, you can be certain it wouldn't be a bash; you'd be lucky if the last half of the review wasn't all fucked up because I got splooge all over my keyboard writing about its story. I suggest Persona. Not enough people know of that game. Maybe, but I never did beat that one, and I don't exactly feel good about reviewing RPGs I haven't beaten, even if I already think I know what the next 10 or so hours is gonna be like. lasthero:LastHero suggests Suikoden III. Man, that game was a let-down. It'd be a quality RPG if it wasn't the successor to Suiko II, but damn... I beat it promptly after I bought it (got all 108 stars and did Luc's side-quest) and never looked back. I have no strong memories of it and I don't think I'm gonna end up digging it up again. Or, what about Virtua Fighter 4, since that seems to be a good game for you at the moment. :/ Heh... I actually read your review of VF4, and at first, of course, I didn't like it, because... I really like VF -- but then it became apparant to me that your opinion (stressing aesthetics regardless of technical achievement) wasn't a common one with regards to the virtua franchise and that it's not a trivial issue, either... and I also think Vanessa is hot (another uncommon opinion.) At any rate, I don't feel like reviewing it too much. It's the sort of game I play when nothing else interests me. I had also been playing Tekken 5, which you might say has the inverse problem that VF4 has. |
