Did a Bully review, but it took me forever and I'm really not satisfied with it. Marvel Ultimate Alliance review should be coming soon, Friday I'm hoping. Lots of crap in my life, most of it has to do with cars, don't feel like whining about. Saw a cool cover for an upcoming comic, just thought I'd share.
Groovy.

Genj - November 01, 2006 (07:14 PM) Yeah that Bully game seem like it came out of nowhere and turned out to be good. I may have to ask for it for Christmas . . . after the GameCube version of Twilight Princess of course. Also my initial impression of Final Fantasy XII from flipping through the guide and gazing at the metal case indicate that it's awesome. 3 more weeks until I can play it! |

joseph_valencia - November 01, 2006 (07:40 PM) After playing the game for five hours, I have to say that FFXII is full of win. |

silverishness - November 02, 2006 (06:47 AM) Huh. Then I may have to get it. But how be the battle system? If it sucks, than I'm afraid I won't be able to play it. I didn't even get KH: Chain of Memories for that, and I'll admit that when playing KH2, I was a little lost. But I stand by the fact that battling with a deck of freaking cards is STOOPID. Hahaha... zombies... |

joseph_valencia - November 02, 2006 (07:58 AM) FFXII's battle system is basically like Knights of the Old Republic for Xbox, except with superior AI tweaking options. In many ways, it's actually a logical evolution of the real-time battle system from Final Fantasies 4-9. There aren't any cards or gimmicky bullshit like that; everything is done through standard menu commands. To use new weapons/armor/abilities, you need to spend points on something called the 'license board', but it's not as overwhelming as the Sphere Grid from FFX. As a matter of fact, you only really need to pay attention to the LB when you acquire new equipment and abilities. |

EmP - November 02, 2006 (09:32 AM) You posted that comic for me, didn't you? I'm moved to think about possibly being nicer to you. |

silverishness - November 03, 2006 (06:21 AM) Well, that's nice. The Sphere Grid confused me at first, but eventually, I got the hang of it. If it's easier than that, then I suppose it's worth a buy. 'Course, I'll have to wait until I can get it used or the price goes down. -_- |
