Justice League: Task Force

Okay, it's not Tomb Raider Legends. I wish I could come up for some reason, but, being honest, I just did not feel like reviewing that game. Superheroes, though, are always up my alley, and I've been wanting to fill out my retro reviews, so...

Note: The cover for this game sucked ass, so I found a Pete Ross picture and used it instead.

Regarding cover art: first of all, it's not even centered on Superman, so it looks sloppy. Second of all, use the real fucking cover please no matter how bad it looks. Currently HG is a serious game site (I think) so putting some completely different picture up because you like it better is not cool. Yes, I've seen the real cover and it is bad, but we need to have some integrity or something.

As for the review, it felt pretty rushed - like one of my "I feel like writing something" Atari 2600 reviews that I shit out in 5 minutes.

I hope the horrendous picture of Superman yelling burns in your retina.

<_< But how does it feel rushed? It's short, yeah, but it's not like there's a whoe lot to talk about with it.

I thought it was a pretty good review, but I didn't feel like you went into quite enough depth about how Acclaim missed its opportunities. For example, having multiple characters go through the same story mode without differences was common at the time the game was released. More about the actual levels and the challenge (or lack thereof) in the fights would've improved the review, but it wasn't as bad (to me) as Genj made it out to be.

The image of Superman has indeed burned through my sclera, choroid, retina and to the very ends of my optic nerve. I am now completely blind and require my cat to type out my blog posts.

Now that's out of the way, it feels rushed because, as Venter said, you really don't go in depth. If it hadn't been for your anecdote about wetting your pants as a kid, I'd be under the impression you quickly played a rom for a little bit before bashing the game.

>_> I never said anything about wetting my pants...did I?

No, it looks like my mind remembered something far funnier than what was written.
