Earliest Video Games I Remember Getting For Various Game Consoles

Nintendo Entertainment System:

1. Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (Bundled with NES in 1989)

2. California Games (Gift from Uncle and Aunt less than 1 Week Later in 1989)

3. Super Mario Bros. 3 (Gift from mother around 1 month later in 1989)

Super Nintendo Entertainment System:

1. Donkey Kong Country (Christmas gift from parents in 1994)

2. Killer Instinct (Birthday Gift form mother in 1995)

3. WWF Raw (Used money from grandmother in early 1995)

Nintendo 64:

1. WCW/nWO: Revenge (My mother urged me to pick out Ocarina of Time as a Christmas gift in 1998, but I just HAD to have this game. And like Ocarina of Time, it is timeless)

Nintendo GameCube:

1. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (Picked this game up for $9.99 and got a free memory card before I received my GCN in the mail in 2002 from TheGameTrader.com)

2. Madden 2003 (I had ordered Madden 2002 from TheGameTrader.com for $19.99, but they were sold out so they gave me Madden 2003 instead, a $54.99 value.)

3. Dark Summit (I ordered this game from TheGameTrader.com)

4. Wave Race: Blue Storm (I spent around $19.99 on this game at Hstings before I received my GCN console)

5. Super Mario Sunshine (We actually had to pick up my GCN two cities away from us because USPS couldn't find our house for the firt time ever. While shopping, my mother bought me a copy of Super Mario Sunshine. Better than SM64, I thought.)

Nintendo Wii:

1. Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort (Came bundled with the system I bought from Playerschoicevideogames in 2010 or 2011)

Nintendo Gameboy:

1. Tetris (I received it as a Christmas gift alongside my Gameboy in 1993)

2. Super Mario Land (I received it as a late Christmas gift from my grandmother in the mail that same year)

3. Spot (I received it from my neighbors for my birthday of 1994)

4. Jeopardy! (I received it from my parents for
my birthday of 1994)

Nintendo Gameboy Color

1. Poke'mon Trading Card Game (I received it from my grandmother after I picked it out for my birthday in 2000; My mother bought me a GBC the same day)

Nintendo Gameboy Advance

1. F-Zero: Maximum Velocity (I picked this title out to go with the GBA and case I purchased launch day using money from selling games online)

2. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (Kay-Bee toys was having a $19.99 GBA game sale and my mother picked it up for me. Best Castlevania game ever in my opinion.)

Nintendo DS

1. Feel the Magic XX/XY (I picked this title up when I purchased my DS a month or two after launch)

Nintendo 3DS

1. Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition (I pre-ordred this title along with my 3DS)

2. Samurai Warriors Chronicles (I traded in some games and picked this up the same day as the 3DS Launch)

GameCom:

1. Sonic Jam (I picked this up for $9.99 after my Mom bought me the console for $19.99 the same day. And it blew. Big chunks.)

Neo Geo CD:

1. Real Bout Fatal Fury, Real Bout Fatal Fury Speial, Double Dragon, King of Fighers '96, King of Fighters '97 (I purchased theses games from egameaddiction.com, the best place for Neo Geo CD games after purchasing a used, JAP console on eBay. Due to the game prices, I sold everything for the cash to buy an Xbox 360)

Sega Genesis:

1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (I received this game with my Sonic 2 system on my birthday in 1995. My grandmother bought the system for me.)

2. Mortal Kombat II (I had the biggest load of b-day money ever that year so I bought multiple games. The first? Mortal Kombat II for GEN for $39.99.)

Sega Saturn:

1. Daytona USA/Virtua Fighter 2/Virtua Cop (The first Sega Saturn I bought came from Collector's Cards and Games. I also bought this 3-Pack for $9.99)

Sega Dreamcast:

1. The King of Fighters: Dream Match 1999 (I bought this game used for $14.99 at Hastings because I had some games online and was trying to save up for a Dreamcast)

2. Virtua Fighter 3 tb (I bought this game for $14.99 used at Hastings the day my mother bought me a Dreamcast as a graduation gift.)

Sony PlayStation:

1. Tekken (I bought this game alongside my PlayStation in 1997 after saving allowance money, b-day money, and money from my grandmother for months)

2. Fighting Force (My mother bought me this game shortly after)

3. Resident Evil: Director's Cut (I bought this game for $39.99 using some early b-day money)

4. Crash Bandicoot (I received this game from my aunt and my cousin for Christmas of 1997)

5. Tomb Raider II (I received this game from my parents for Christmas of 1997)

Sony PlayStation 2

1. Jampack (I bought the first PS2 Jampack for $7.99 a few months before picking up a PS2)

2. Virtua Fighter 4 (My mother let me pick out a $19.99 PS2 game and a Sega title is exactly what I had to have)

3. HSX (I bought this game for $11.99 at Kay-Bee toys because it was what I could afford; Still better than Wipeout, I say)

Sony PlayStation 3:

1. Metal Gear Solid 4/Ninja Gaiden Sigma (I bought both of these games used with my free $50 gift card after picking up a PS3 console with trade-in credit, back when GameStop would pay loads for PS2 and 360 games.)

Sony PlayStation Portable:

1. Darkstalkers (I picked this game out for my b-day after I used part of my inheritance on a PSP)

2. Hot Shots Golf (My grandmother bought me this game a month or two later)

3. Ridge Racer (I bought this game a month or two after that)

Sony PlayStation Vita:

1. Little Deviants/Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational/ModNation Racers: Road Trip (I used my GameStop credit to pick up two Sony titles and got one free)

Microsoft Xbox:

1. Music Maker (I bought this because at the time, I didn't see any cheap Xbox games I wanted)

2. Amped (I passed on the Halo edition Xbox simpy because I thought the color was ugly. My mother let my brother and I pick out one game for the console and that was Amped)

3. Blinx (My brother and I saw this game at a Wal-Mart for $9.99 and had to have it)

Xbox 360:

1. Dead or Alive 4/Kameo (I picked this up at GameStop to play on my new console along with Kameo)

2. PGR3/NBA 2K6 (After I traded some more games in, I picked up these two games for my Xbox 360 at GameStop)
