Kirby: Triple Deluxe Guide > Story Mode > Royal Road - Stage 4

From where you appear, float up to the 3D Warpstar and ride it into the backdrop. Hop up along some ledges and find a Ninja enemy. Absorb him and head right to another 3D Warpstar, which takes you to the foreground. Here, you can defeat some enemies overhead, and to the right you can grab the Hammer ability from a capsule. Then keep climbing the platforms.

To the upper left, there's a floating Keychain you can grab. Along the shaft's top right side, there's another 3D Warpstar. This one takes you to some food and another 3D Warpstar, which in turns leads to a chamber where you will be tossed an Assist Star. Collect that if you need it, then climb the ladder to the upper right and ride yet another 3D Warpstar. Take out some enemies and ride (you guessed it) another 3D Warpstar. It carries you to a room in the foreground, where you can enter a vortex that leads to a boss battle.

Boss: Paintra

Your first encounter with Paintra likely went well, and this one should prove no different. The Hammer you picked up a moment ago is a great weapon. You can get in close and swing it in arcs to steadily chip away at Paintra's life meter, while avoiding a few week attacks. For the most part, there are two attacks to keep in mind: paint tosses, which mostly just obscure the screen, and a group of four paintings that Paintra will produce. Just avoid the three paintings that are genuine and position yourself beneath the artificial one to avoid incoming attacks. Then watch for Paintra to come within range. It should be a short fight.

Once you defeat Paintra, pass through the vortex that appears and you'll arrive in a passage with some blocks. You can hit bomb blocks to clear a the blocks so that you can take on the enemies that lurk within the block formations, and make sure that you grab a Keychain along the way as a reward. Near the bottom, you can take out an enemy and grab a key, which lets you pass through a gate to the right.

There's another Waddle Dee that will throw an Assist Star as you proceed through here. Continue toward the upper right, still hitting bomb blocks to clear a path. Past a rolling enemy, you'll find another vortex. It leads to another boss encounter.

Boss: Flowery Woods

This ought to be another easy fight for you, especially since you can start it with the hammer equipped and quickly beat away about half of your foe's life meter. Then it's a matter of simply avoiding attacks it launches from the background, then hitting it again when it returns to the foreground. If you lose the hammer, you can get close (but not underneath) the tree when it stomps after returning to the foreground, and that way you can inhale a bunch of small stars and fire them as a powerful shot that takes off a lot of your opponent's life meter all at once. It's another easy fight.

Pass through the vortex that appears after the battle with Flowery Woods and you will find yourself in another set of chambers. Hop onto the 3D Warpstar and ride it to the backdrop. Then head left past some enemies and descend ladders to find goodies and also another 3D Warpstar. It'll carry you to a foreground shaped much the same way as the background. Climb up to find a Waddle Dee that will toss you an Assist Star. Note the large gray block to the left.

From that chamber, head right and down to launch into a cannon. It will propel you to another one that fires you so that you wind up near a vortex. Do not enter the vortex yet, though. Instead, pass around it and continue circling around the corridor. More cannons will fire you around that outside corridor, finally allowing you to break the gray block you saw a moment ago to collect a Sun Stone. Now you can return to the vortex and enter it for another boss battle.

Boss: Pyribbit

It's the last of the bosses from the previous worlds. You can come at this battle with a variety of different weapons, but one likely weapon is the Cutter blade you can pick up from an enemy not far ahead of the chamber. It can make pretty quick work of your foe, if you move in close and use dash attacks and toss a lot of blades. Of course, you can always inhale stars and fire those, as well, since they do nice damage also. If your life supply gets low, you also have the item in your Assist Star.

Once you defeat Pryibbit, a vortex appears and you can pass through it to arrive in a new chamber with a bomb block. Before you worry about that block, fly up to the upper left side of the area. The wall here is weak. Dismantle it with your attacks and you'll reveal an opening. Pass through it and you'll find a cannon pointing downward. Hop into it and let it launch you down. You'll collect a 1up, then blast into the backdrop. Along the path the cannons carry you, the Rare Keychain: King Dedede Drawing waits. You'll collect it automatically and return to the foreground.

Now head back through the opening you made a moment ago by breaking the weak wall. Drop down and kick the bomb block to reveal a 3D Warpstar, which you can ride into the backdrop to reach the stage's goal door.
